I lead an outdoor organization and it’s fun to get new gear. Hikas are the most innovative and useful gear I’ve gotten in a long time. I found Hikas at the Boston Outdoor Expo. I’d never seen anything like them, the color assortment was attractive and the materials were compelling. Oysters, really?

I knew that I loved the feel of a puffy jacket on my torso, and assumed puffy gaiters would feel just as great on my ankles.

They do! I put them on every morning for my run and wear them biking. I slip them under wide leg pants to stay warm in the office. And everywhere I go people ask where they can get a pair.

How did I make it through Maine winters without my Hikas?
